An 2.785Mw engine which produce nearly a 3.0Mva electrical power output has a flow problem in the LT c/w system. After a though-rough inspection in association with engineers from MTEE and MEEF we discovered a series of causes that interfered the c/w flow. We removed the air cooler elements to have them chemically cleaned prior to re-installation. I am convinced that when a proper chemical cleaning has been performed on these elements that engine performances will increases remarkably.
